कहानी स्वरोजगार की- Story of self employment

नीली कमीज पहने बैठा वाला, रमेश कभी ढाबे पर तो, कभी पनीर के कारखाने में काम किया,  कभी गाडियों के वर्कशॉप में गाडियाँ धोई , जब भी मिलता तो हमेशा कहता दाज्यू परेशान हूँ, गुजारा नही चल पाता, घर को पैसा भेजता हूँ तो, इधर टोटा पड़ जाता है, ओर ना भेजूँ तो घर में दिक्कत हो जाती है बल, कोई अच्छी नौकरी हो तो बताना।

मैनें रमेश को हमेशा इसी हाल में देखा,हमेशा पैसों की किल्लत, किराया ना चुकाने के कारण कई बार फुटपाथ में भी सोया, उसकी ये हालत देख कर दुख होता था की, गाँव में जिसका तीन मंजिला मकान है, वो कैसी बुरी दशा में रह रहा है।

इसी बीच मेरे को एक परिचित मिला जिसका की जयपुर में प्लाट था ,उसने कहा यार कोई विश्वासी लड़का हो तो, ओर उसे रहने की दिक्कत हो तो, मुझे बताना, मेरे प्लाट में रह लेगा, जिसमें गैराज बना है।

मेरे परिचित के ये बोलते ही, मेरे जेहन में रमेश का नाम आया, ओर मैं उससे बोला की, एक लड़का है ओर उसे रहने के लिये जगह की जरूरत भी है, कल उससे बात करके आपको बताता हूँ।

दूसरे ही दिन रमेश को तलाशा ओर उस परिचित के पास ले गया, इस तरह रमेश की रहने की समस्या का निदान हो गया, रमेश वहाँ रहने लगा, अब उसे किराया देना नही था, उल्टे जब भी मालिक आता हजार दो हजार जाते वक़्त दे जाता।

प्लाट की खाली जमीन पर रमेश ने कुछ सब्जियाँ भी लगा दी, पानी था ही, बढ़िया सब्जियाँ हो रही थी, रमेश मेरे घर भी दे जाता था,खासतौर पर राई के पत्ते, कभी कद्दू के टुक, तो कभी मूली।

रमेश की बदौलत मुझे भी भात के साथ टपकिया खाने को मिल जाता था, वो भी शुद्ध पानी ओर गोबर की खाद में उपजा।

प्लाट में रहने के बाद रमेश अब रोता नही मिलता था , सुबह नौकरी में जाता वहाँ से कमाई हो जाती, किराया लग नही रहा था, साग सब्जी का भी खर्चा ना के बराबर, तो थोड़ी बचत होने लगी थी, कुल मिलाकर अब ठीक चल रही थी रमेश की जिंदगी।

रमेश अब गाँव को भी बराबर खर्चा भेज रहा था ,रमेश जब भी मिलता तो ,ये बात जरूर बोलता की, दाज्यू आपकी वजह से अब सुखी हूँ थोडा़, आप रहने का जुगाड़ ना करते तो, आज भी परेशान ही घूमता।

समय गुजरता गया 3 - 4 साल बीत गये, एक दिन रमेश घर आकर बोला, दाज्यू गाँव को जा रहा हूँ, इस बार कब तक लौटूँगा पता नही, कुछ पहाड़ में करने की सोच रहा हूँ, ईजा बौज्यू भी बूढ़े हो गये हैं, यहाँ लाऊँगा तो रह नही पायेंगें ओर गाँव छोड़ता हूँ तो उन्हें कौन देखेगा, इकलौता ठहरा इसलिए सोच रहा हूँ वहीं कुछ काम काज कर लूँ।

कुछ दिन बाद वो गाँव को चल दिया, इधर मेरा भी गाँव की तरफ जाना नही हुआ, इसलिए रमेश की कोई खैर खबर नही मिली की, वो पहाड़ में कर क्या रहा है।

इस बार काफी सालों बात गाँव की तरफ जाना हुआ, वहीं शादी में रमेश से मुलाकात हो पड़ी, वो रमेश जिसने कभी जयपुर जैसे शहर में रोजगार के लिये ना जाने कितने धक्के खाये थे, पर जिस रमेश को मैनें देखा था, उसके बिल्कुल उलट वाला रमेश था वो, रमेश बिल्कुल बदल गया था। 

दुबला पतला रमेश अब गोलमटोल हो गया था, चेहरे की रौनक बता रही थी की, उसने जो भी काम शुरू किया था, वो बहुत अच्छा चल निकला था, शादी के माहौल में ज्यादा बात नही कर पाये हम लोग, तो रमेश बोला दाज्यू कल आपके घर आता हूँ, वहीं बैठ कर बातें करेंगे।

दूसरे दिन शाम के वक़्त रमेश घर आ पहुँचा, फिर उसने अपने जयपुर के साथियों के हाल चाल पूछे, ओर फिर बताना शुरू किया अपना हाल।

रमेश ने कहा दाज्यू जब आपने रहने की व्यवस्था कर दी थी, तब से ही मैं बगल वाले प्लाट में जो कबाड़ का गोदाम था, उसके सेठ के साथ खाली समय उठने बैठने लग गया था, वहीं से कबाड़ का काम कैसे होता है उसे सीखता गया।

जो सेठ था वो कुछ सालों पहले तक ठेला चलाकर घर घर से कबाड़ खरीदता था ,ओर कुछ सालों बाद अपने गाँव से कुछ लड़कों को लाकर, खुद का कबाड़ का गोदाम खोल दिया, उसके काम को देख कर, मेरे मन में भी ख्याल आया की, अगर मैं भी ये करूँ तो, अच्छा कमा सकता हूँ, खासतौर पर गाँव में, क्योकिं यहाँ कबाड़ खरीदने वाला हल्द्वानी से आता है, मैं तो लोकल हुआ ,कुछ तो लाभ होगा,, बस ये सोच कर गाँव आकर ,कबाड़ का काम शुरू करने का इरादा किया ,अब आसपास के गाँवो के बेरोजगार लड़कों से कबाड़ इकट्ठा करवाता हूँ, ओर फिर उसे ,बडी कबाड़ कंपनियों को बेच देता हूँ,ठीक चल रहा है कारोबार मेरा भी ओर मेरे साथ काम करने वाले लड़कों का भी ।

रमेश बोला दाज्यू पहाड़ में बाहर के लोग आकर कमा रहे हैं, कोई भी काम देखो बाहर के लोग आकर इन पहाड़ों में कमा रहे हैं, कोई फूलों की खेती कर रहा है, तो कोई मकान बनाने का काम, कोई नाई की दुकान खोल कर बैठा है तो, कोई टेलरिंग की दुकान, सब यहाँ आकर कमा रहे हैं, ओर हम जैसे लोकल लोग बाहर भाग रहे हैं रोजगार के लिये, मुझे ही देखो ना कितना परेशान रहा जयपुर में ,जबसे पहाड़ आकर काम शुरू किया सुखी हूँ, कुछ सालों में सबकुछ जोड़ लिया, जो जयपुर में सात जन्म में नही जोड़ पाता।

वास्तव में सच कह रहा था रमेश, रमेश ने कुछ सालों में जो तरक्की की, वो जयपुर रहकर नही कर सकता था, बड़े शहरों के बड़े खर्चे होते हैं, छोटा मोटा काम करने वाला तो, बस दो वक़्त की रोटी का जुगाड़ ही कर सकता है।

कुल मिलाकर शानदार निर्णय लिया था रमेश ने गाँव लौटकर काम करने का, मेरी नजर में वो उन लोगों के लिये एक अच्छा रोल मॉडल है, जो काम की तलाश में शहरों की तरफ पलायन कर रहे हैं, उन्हें रमेश से सीखना चाहिये की, कैसे अपने ही आसपास रोजगार के अवसर तलाशे ओर खुद का काम शुरू करें।

Self employment

Ramesh sometimes worked in a dhaba, sometimes in a cheese factory, and sometimes he washed the cars in the workshop, whenever he got it, he always said  that I am upset, I can't survive, if i send money to the home, then it gets torn here and If I don't send it, there is a problem in the house, if there is a good job, tell me.

 I always saw Ramesh in this condition, always lack of money, many times even slept on the pavement due to non-payment of rent, it was sad to see his condition that, who has a three story house in the village, what a bad condition he is living in city.

 In the meantime, I found an acquaintance who had a plot in Jaipur, he said, if you are know a confident boy, and if he has any problem of living, tell me, he will stay in my plot, in which the garage is made.

 As soon as my acquaintance said this, Ramesh's name came in my mind, and I told him that there is a boy and he also needs a place to live, I will tell you tomorrow after talking to him.

 Searched Ramesh the next day and took him to that acquaintance, in this way the problem of Ramesh's living was resolved, Ramesh started living there, now he did not have to pay rent, on the contrary, whenever the owner came, he would have given two thousand while leaving.  .

 Ramesh also planted some vegetables on the vacant land of the plot, there was water, good vegetables were being grown, Ramesh used to give my house too, especially mustard leaves, sometimes pumpkins sometimes radish.

 Thanks to Ramesh, I also got to eat fresh and pure vegitable , that too grew in pure water and cow dung manure.

 After living in the plot, Ramesh could not cry anymore, he would have earned money from there in the morning, the rent was not being charged, the cost of greens and vegetables was also negligible, so there was little savings, overall now it is going well.  This was Ramesh's life.

 Ramesh was now sending money to the village too, whenever Ramesh would get it, he would definitely say that now i am happy because of you, if you didn't juggle to stay, even today, he would roam in trouble.

 Time passed 3 - 4 years passed, one day Ramesh came home and said, I am going to village, I do not know how long I will return this time, I am thinking of doing something in the village, mother father has also become old, here  If I bring it, I will not be able to live and if I leave the village, then who will see them, I am thinking that I should do some work there.

 After a few days he went to the village, here I also did not go towards the village, so there was no good news of Ramesh, what he is doing in the mountain.

 This time, for many years, the matter went towards the village, while in marriage, I met Ramesh, the one who had never known many pushes for employment in a city like Jaipur, but the exact opposite of the Ramesh whom I had seen.  Ramesh was that, Ramesh had changed completely.

 The lean skinny Ramesh was now chubby, the beauty of his face was telling that, whatever work he had started, it went very well, we could not talk much in the atmosphere of marriage, so Ramesh said Daju yesterday I come your home, we will sit there and talk.

 On the second day, Ramesh reached home in the evening, then he inquired about the condition of his friends in Jaipur, and then started telling his condition.

 Ramesh said, Daju, when you had made arrangements to stay, I started sitting with owner of spare work for time of the junk warehouse in the adjacent plot, from there he learned how the work of the junk is done.

 The one who was owner used to buy junk from house to house by running a handcart till a few years ago, and after a few years, after bringing some boys from his village, he opened his own junk warehouse, seeing his work, I also thought that  , If I also do this, I can earn well, especially in the village, because the junk buyer here comes from Haldwani, I have become a local, there will be some benefit, just thinking about coming to the village, the work of scrap started  I intend to do it, now I get the junk collected from the surrounding villages, and then sell it to big junk companies, business is going well.

 Ramesh said that outsiders are earning in mountain, look for any work, outsiders are coming and earning in these mountains, some are cultivating flowers, some are building houses, some are sitting by opening a barber shop.  So, there is a tailoring shop, everyone is earning by coming here, and local people like us are running out for employment, look at me, how much trouble I have been in Jaipur, since coming to the mountain and started work, in a few years  Added everything, which in Jaipur could not be combined in seven births.

 In fact, Ramesh was telling the truth, the progress that Ramesh made in a few years, he could not do it by staying in Jaipur, big cities have big expenses, even a small workman can only juggle bread for two times.

 Over all, it was a great decision Ramesh took to return to the village and work, in my view he is a good role model for those people who are migrating to the cities in search of work, they should learn from Ramesh, how to do their job.  Find employment opportunities around you and start your own work.
