उत्तराखण्ड में एक कहावत प्रचलित है की पहाड़ का पानी ओर पहाड़ की जवानी, पहाड़ के काम नही आती ओर ये एक हद तक ठीक भी है, पर इस कहावत को गलत साबित करने का प्रयास किया अपने हौंसले से मन्नू ने।

मन्नू के बौज्यू ( पिता ) छोटी मोटी मजदूरी करके घर चलाते थे, दो जवान बेटियों की शादी की भी जिम्मेदारी सामने खड़ी थी, इसलिए उन्होनें मन्नू को भी स्कूल की पढ़ाई पूरी करने के बाद बड़े भाई के पास दिल्ली भेज दिया, ताकि वो भी बड़े भाई की तरह कमा कर घर में कुछ मदद कर सके।

मन्नू भी घर के हालातों से परिचित था के, कैसे उसके बौज्यू ( पिता ) दिन रात मेहनत करके घर चला रहे थे, इसलिए वो भी आगे पढ़ने का मानस छोड़ बड़े भाई के पास दिल्ली पहुँच गया।

बड़े भाई ने जो की एक मोबाईल की दुकान में काम करता था, मन्नू को भी दुकान में लगवा दिया।

मन्नू भी मन लगा कर काम करने लगा, वहाँ काम करने के दौरान उसने देखा की उसकी दुकान में मोबाईल रिपेयरिंग का काम करने वाला विनोद अन्य कर्मचारियों की तुलना में अधिक वेतन पाता है, अगर वो भी ये काम सीख ले तो घर वालों की ज्यादा मदद कर पायेगा ,इसलिए उसने तय किया की वो भी ये काम सीखेगा।

उसने इस संबंघ में अपने बड़े भाई से बात की, इस पर बड़े भाई ने कहा की ,अगर तू काम सीखेगा तो तुझे मालिक पैसे नही देगा ,काम सीखने के भला कोई पैसे देता है, ओर पता नही कितना टाइम लगे तुझे सीखने में, तब तक क्या होगा।

इस पर मन्नू भाई को बोला अगर विनोद भाई काम ढँग से सीखा देगा तो मैं 2 महीने के अंदर सीख कर बता दूँगा, आप तो बस विनोद भाई ओर मालिक से बात करके पूछ लो।

मन्नू के बड़े भाई ने अगले ही दिन पहले विनोद से बात की ओर उसे घर के हालात व मन्नू की जिद के बारे बतलाया, ये सुन विनोद मन्नू को सिखाने के लिये तैयार हो गया ,अब दुकान मालिक से अनुमति लेनी थी, मन्नू का भाई दुकान मालिक के पास जाकर मन्नू के मोबाईल ठीक करने का काम सीखने के बारे में बताया ओर यहाँ तक कह दिया की आप सीखने के दौरान उसे कुछ मत देना ओर छोटे मोटे काम भी करवा लेना, ये सुन दुकान मालिक ने भी अनुमति दे दी।

इस तरह से मन्नू का मोबाईल रिपेयरिंग सीखने का काम प्रारम्भ हो गया, मन्नू मन लगा कर काम सीखता, कुछ ही दिनों में उसने काफी काम सीख भी लिया था, ओर बड़े भाई से किये वादे के मुताबिक उसने 2 महीने के अंदर ही करीब करीब पूरा काम सीख डाला था, अब वो एक तरह से मोबाईल का पूरा मिस्त्री बन चुका था।

दुकान मालिक के पास मोबाईल रिपेयरिंग का काफी काम आता था तो उसने दुकान में ही, मन्नू को एक अलग काउंटर लगवा कर रिपेयरिंग के लिये बिठवा दिया, इस तरह मन्नू मोबाईल मैकेनिक बन गया।

अब उसकी सैलेरी भी बढ़ गई थी, वो पहले से ज्यादा कमाने लग गया, इसके अतिरिक्त जहाँ वो रहता था, उसके आसपास रहने वाले लोगों के मोबाईल रिपेयर कर ओर कमाई कर लेता था।

मन्नू अब घर को भी ज्यादा पैसे भेजने लग गया था, बड़े भाई की सैलेरी से दिल्ली में रहने खाने का खर्चा चल जाता था, सब ठीक ठाक चल रहा ही रहा था के अचानक आई कोरोना बीमारी ने सब खत्म कर दिया!

सरकार ने लॉक डाउन लगा दिया, इससे बाजार बंद हो गये, सारे काम धाम चौपट हो गये, ओर मन्नू ओर उसके भाई पर भी इसकी मार पड़ी, वो दोनों भी बेरोजगार हो गये, अब खाली बैठे दिल्ली क्या करते, इसलिए दोनों भाई मोटर साइकिल का सफर कर अपने गाँव पहुँच गये।

वहाँ मन्नू दिमाग दौड़ाता रहा की जब तक कोरोना खत्म नही हो जाता ओर वो दिल्ली नही जाते कुछ यही किया जाये,उसने दिमाग लगाया की गाँव व गाँव के आसपास के इलाके में लोगों के पास काफी सारे मोबाईल हैं ओर ये खराब हो जातें हैं तो इन्हे सुधरवाने के लिये अल्मोड़ा शहर में ले जाना पड़ता है, अगर वो इन मोबाइलों को यही सुधारने का काम कर ले तो, काम चल जायेगा, बस फिर क्या था उसने मोबाईल सुधारने का काम गाँव में ही चालू कर दिया।

कुछ दिनों में ही उसके पास अच्छा काम आने लगा, जो लोग पहले इस काम के लिये अल्मोड़ा जाते थे वो भी अब मन्नू के पास आने लगे, मन्नू अच्छा काम जानता ही था, इसलिए वो जल्द ही आसपास के इलाकों में प्रसिद्ध हो गया।

धीरे धीरे उसके पास इतना काम आने लगा की उसे काम से फुर्सत ही नही मिलती, उसने बड़े भाई को भी यही काम सीखा दिया।

अब दोनों मिलकर इतना कमा लेते थे की उन्हें दिल्ली वापस जाने की जरूरत ही नही रही।

दोनों भाईयों ने अब गाँव के बाजार में ही बड़ी सारी दुकान भी खोल ली, जिसमें वो मोबाईल ओर उसकी एसेसरीज भी बेचने लगे थे।

 Mannu was also familiar with the circumstances of the house, how his father was working hard day and night, so he too left the psyche of studying and reached Delhi with his elder brother.

 The elder brother, who work in a mobile shop, also got Mannu in the shop.

 Mannu also started working diligently, while working there, he saw that Vinod, who works as mobile repairing in his shop, gets more salary than other employees, if he too learns this job then help the housemates more  Will be able to do it, so he decided that he will also learn this work.

 He spoke to his elder brother in this association, on which the elder brother said, if you learn the work, then your boss will not give you money, in addition to learning the work, you do not know how much time it takes to learn, then  What will happen till

 On this, said to Mannu Bhai, if Vinod will teach from work, then I will take him within 2 months, you just talk to Vinod and the owner and ask.

 Mannu's elder brother spoke to Vinod the very next day and told him about the situation of the house and Mannu's stubbornness, Vinod agreed to teach annu, now the shop owner had to get permission, Mannu's brother in the shop.  After going to the owner, he told about learning how to fix Mannu's mobile and even told him that you should not give him anything during the course of his learning and get him to do small things too, the shop owner also gave permission.

 In this way, the work of learning mobile repairing of Annu started, Mannu used to learn work diligently, in a few days he had learned a lot of work, and according to the promise made to his elder brother, he almost completed it within 2 months.  Had learned the work, now he had become a complete mechanic of mobile.

 The shop owner used to do a lot of mobile repairing, so he installed a separate counter in the shop and got Mannu to repair it, thus Mannu became a mobile mechanic.

 Now his salary was also increased, he started earning more than before, besides where he lived, he used to earn more by repairing the mobiles of the people living around him.

 Mannu was now sending more money to the house as well, the elder brother's salary used to be spent on living in Delhi, everything was going well that the sudden corona disease ended all!

 The government put a lock down, the markets were closed, all the work was destroyed, and Mannu and his brother were also killed, both of them became unemployed, what would Delhi do now, hence both brothers motorcycle  Reached his village after traveling

 There Mannu kept running the mind that until Corona was over and he did not go to Delhi, he should be doing something, he thought that people in the village and the area around the village have a lot of mobiles and they get spoiled.  One has to be taken to Almora city for improvement, if he works to improve these mobiles, then the work will go on, just what was it then he started the work of improving mobile in the village itself.

 Within a few days, good work started coming to him, people who used to go to Almora earlier for this work also started coming to Mannu, Mannu knew good work, so he soon became famous in the surrounding areas.

 Gradually, he started getting so much work that he does not get free time from work, he also taught the elder brother the same work.

 Now both of them used to earn so much that they did not have to go back to Delhi.

 Both the brothers now opened a large shop in the village market itself, in which they started selling mobile and its accessories as well.
