गुज्जू उटांगी

कई लोग ऐसे होते हैं, जिनसे ना चाहते हुये भी काम बिगड़ जाते हैं, उन्हें पहाड़ ( उत्तराखण्ड ) में उटांगी कहा जाता है, ऐसे ही ठहरा गाँव का गुज्जू भी।

गुज्जू से ना चाहते हुये भी काम बिगड़ ही जाते थे, इसलिए गाँव के लोगों ने उसका नाम ही गुज्जू उटांगी रख दिया ठहरा।

वैसे गुज्जू हुआ बड़ा सामाजिक आदमी, गाँव के हर काम में ,सबसे आगे आने वाला वही होता था,पर उससे काम बिगड़ जाने के कारण ,उसे कोई विशेष या बड़े काम की जिम्मेदारी नही दी जाती थी, उसे छोटे मोटे काम सौपें जाते, ताकि कुछ उससे बिगड़ भी जाये तो विशेष फर्क ना पड़े।

गुज्जू भी बिना हील हुज्जत उसे सौपा काम ,अपनी तरफ से ठीक करने की कोशिश करता, अब बिगड़े तो बिगड़े बल,गुज्जू को तो काम करने से मतलब।

एक बार देवता के थान में पूजा का कार्यक्रम था, गुज्जू को भी न्यौता आया था, पूजा बड़ी थी, इसलिए काम भी बहुत था, तो गुज्जू सुबह ही थान ( मंदिर ) में पहुँच गया।

गाँव के प्रधान ने गुज्जू को देखते ही कहा, गुज्जू आगो रे ( गुज्जू आ गया ) ये कें येक लायक काम दिया हाँ ( इसको इसके लायक ही काम देना हाँ )।

ये सुनकर गुज्जू बोला यार प्रधान ज्यू येस क्याही कोण छा ( यार प्रधान जी ऐसा क्यों बोल रहे हो ) मेर जतुक काम को कर सकूँ यो गों में ( मेरा जितना काम कौन कर सकता है भला इस गाँव में )।

इस पर प्रधान जी बोले यो तो तू सही कोण छे ( ये तो तू सही कह रहा है ) पर यार तेर कें काम पत्त ना कस्ये बिगड़ जाँ ( पर यार तेरे से काम पता नही कैसे बिगड़ जाते हैं ) ये लीजी येस बुलाणियों ( इसलिए ऐसा बोल रहा हूँ ) ,बुर जण मानिये (बुरा मत मानना )।

गुज्जू के साथ ऐसी बातें अक्सर हुआ करती थी, इसलिए वो इन सब बातों का आदि हो गया था, इस कारण अब इन बातों से उसे असर भी नही होता था।

गुज्जू लग गया उसे सौपे काम को पूरा करने में, अब तक सब कुछ ठीक ठाक हो रहा था, गुज्जू की ओर से।

मंदिर में पूजापाठ भी अब अपने अंतिम दौर में थी, उत्तराखण्ड में बलि परम्परा मौजूद होने के कारण अंत में बकरे की बलि चढनी थी।

बलि के लिये बकरा काटने वाले एक्सपर्ट गाँव के बहादुर दा को आवाज दी गई।

बहादुर दा तब पेड पर चढ़ कर भैंस के लिये पत्तियाँ काट रहे थे, आवाज सुनते ही वो आनन फानन में पेड से उतर ही रहे थे की,उनका पैर फिसल गया ,ओर वो नीचे गिर पड़े ओर उनके हाथ में फेक्चर हो पड़ा।

अब समस्या खड़ी हो गई की ,बहादुर दा वाला कौन करेगा, गाँव में बहादुर दा के अलावा तो ,ओर कोई नही करने वाला था, हाँ एक आद बार गुज्जू ने जरूर किया था ऐसा काम।

पर गुज्जू से इतना बड़ा काम कैसे करवाया जायें इस पर लोगों को दुविधा थी, कहीं कुछ उल्टा सीधा हो गया तो।

पर गाँव में गुज्जू के सिवा अब दूसरा आदमी भी तो नही था, जो इस काम को कर पाये ,तो थक हार कर गुज्जू को हीअनुमति देनी पड़ी।

प्रधान जी ने गुज्जू को समझाते हुये कहा ,देख गुज्जुआ ( देख गुज्जू ) आज अगर यो काम कें ( आज इस काम को ) ठीक ठाक कर दिले ( अच्छी तरह से कर देगा तो ) आजक बाद त्वैके कोई उटांगी न बुलाल ( आज के बाद तुझे कोई उटांगी नही बोलेगा ) आज दिखा दे की तू उटांगी नहा ( आज दिखा दे की तू उटांगी नही है ) 

गुज्जू भी तो यही चाहता था की, कोई उसे उटांगी ना बोले, इसलिए वो आज सबको दिखा देना चाहता था की वो उटांगी नही है।

बस गुज्जू जुट गया तैयारी में, बकरे के लिये घास मँगवाई गई, ताकि कामआसानी से हो सके।

अब बकरे के आगे घास डाली गई, बकरा घास खाने लगा, गुज्जू ने बड़ियाठ ( खडग) ऊँचा कर निशाना साधा, ओर बकरे की गर्दन को निशाना लगाते हुये ,जोर से नीचे की ओर मारा ही था की, बकरा आगे खिसक गया ओर , बकरे गर्दन की जगह ,उसके पूँछ के बाल झड़ गये।

ओर बकरे ने घबरा कर नीचे की ओर दौड़ लगा दी, सब सकते में आ गये, बकरे को नीचे की तरफ दौड़ता देख,  गुज्जू हाथ में बड़ियाठ ( खडग)सहित उसे पकड़ने के लिये दौड़ पड़ा, ओर पीछे पीछे सारा गाँव।

हाथ में बड़ियाठ ( खडग ) लहराता हुआ गुज्जू किसी पुरातन योद्धा की तरह लग रहा था ओर गाँव के लोग सैनिक की तरह।

इस तरह गुज्जू फिर से उटांगी ( ऊटपटाँग ) सिद्ध हो पडा लाख सावधानी बरतने के बाद भी।

 Once there was a program of worship in the god's place, Gujju was also invited, the worship was large, so the work was too much, so Gujju reached the Thana (temple) in the morning.

 On seeing the Gujju, the village head said, Gujju ago re (Gujju has come), he gave every worth work yes (yes, give it work for it).

 Hearing this, Gujju said, "Yaar Pradhan jeu yeh kyaahi kon chha" (why yaar Pradhan ji is saying this), I can do my jatuk kam in yo gon (Who can do more work than me in this village).

 On this, the village head said, "You are at the right angle (this is you are saying right), but friend, don't worry, I don't know how to spoil your work."  (So ​​speaking, don't mind).

 Such things used to happen to Gujju often, so they had become the beginning, so now these things did not affect him.

 Gujju got engaged in completing the work entrusted to him, till now everything was going well, on behalf of Gujju.

 Worship was also in its last phase in the temple, due to the presence of sacrificial tradition in Uttarakhand, the goat was to be sacrificed at the end.

 A voice was given to Bahadur Da of Expert Village, who cut the goat for sacrifice.

 Bahadur Da then climbed the tree and cut the leaves for the buffalo, as soon as he heard the sound, he was hurriedly descending from the tree, his leg slipped and he fell down and got his foot fracture.

 Now the problem arises that who will cut, no one else in the village except Bahadur Da, did bite, yes once Gujju definitely cut.

 But people had a dilemma on how to get such a big job done with Gujju, if something went upside down.

 But there was no other man in the village except Gujju, who could do this work, then Gujju had to give permission.

 Then Pradhan ji explained to Gujju and said, Dekh gujju (dekh gujju) today if yo kam ke (today this work) should be properly done (well done)  No one will tell you to take utterance) Show me today that you will take utangi bath (Today show that you are not Utangi)

 Gujju also wanted that no one told him to take it, so today he wanted to show everyone that he is not Utangi.

 Just when Gujju got ready, in preparing the sacrifice, grass was asked for the goat, so that it would be easy to cut.

 Now the grass was put in front of the goat, the goat started to eat the grass, Gujju shot up the cutting weapon, targeted the goat's neck, hit it downwards, the goat slipped forward and instead of the neck the goat's tail hair fell down .

 The goat panicked and ran downstream, everyone came into the can, seeing the goat running downwards, Gujju ran with a cutting weapon in his hand, and all the village behind.

 

The gujju waving cutting weapon in his hand looked like an ancient warrior and the people of the village like a his soldier.

 In this way, Gujju is proven to be Utangi again, even after taking a lot of care.
