दिल बहादुर

दिल बहादुर एक मेट ( नेपाली श्रमिक ) था, जो भवाली में लोगों का सामान इधर से उधर ले जाने का काम करता था।

उसे भवाली आये शायद ज्यादा समय नही हुआ था,क्योकिं वो अभी तक यहाँ की जगहों से कम ही परिचित था।

बिल्लू दा के साथ भवाली लेबर ढूँढने के दौरान, दिल बहादुर हमें मिला, लड़का ठीक लगा तो, बिल्लू दा अपनी ठेकेदारी वाली जगहों पर काम करने के लिये दिल बहादुर को ले आये।

वैसे भी दिल बहादुर जैसे नये लड़के के लिये भवाली में करने को ज्यादा कुछ नही था, क्योकिं नया होने की वजह से ना तो उसे जगहों के बारे में जानकारी थी ओर ना ही वहाँ के लोगों से उसका कोई परिचय था, इसलिए बिल्लू दा के काम करने में उसे फायदा ही था।

क्योकिं स्थान के परिचय बिना मेटों की कोई वकत नही होती, सामान को इधर से उधर पहुँचाने के लिये उन्हें क्षेत्रों का ज्ञान होना बेहद जरूरी होता है।

यहाँ दिल बहादुर को रहने की जगह भी मिल गई ,ओर करने को लगातार काम भी, इससे उसको निरंतर आमदनी का जरिया मिल गया।

वैसे दिल बहादुर भी बड़ा मेहनती लड़का था, मन लगा कर काम करता था, बिल्लू दा भी उससे खुश थे।

बिल्लू दा की लेबरों में अगर बिल्लू दा ,किसी पर सबसे ज्यादा भरोसा करते थे तो वो था दिल बहादुर,इसके चलते बिल्लू दा अपनी साईट की चौकीदारी का काम भी दिल बहादुर को सौंपा हुआ था, ओर दिल बहादुर उसे बखूबी निभाता भी था।

दिल बहादुर बड़ा शर्मिला था, बात बहुत कम करता था, उससे बात करने पर वो हजूर, जी हजूर ही बोलता था अधितर,नया होने के कारण उसे हिंदी भी कम ही आती थी।

पर दिल बहादुर था बड़ा रंगीला, इस बात का पता हमें तब लगा, जब एक दिन रात को उस साईट पर जाना हुआ,जहाँ दिल बहादुर दिन में काम भी करता था ओर रात में वहीं रहता भी था।

जब मैं बिल्लू दा के साथ साईट पर पहुँचे तो अंदर से जोर जोर से गाने की आवाज आ रही थी, देखने पर पता लगा की गाना तो दिल बहादुर गा रहा था, अब कौनसा गा रहा था, ये तो नही पता पर एक लाइन जरूर समझ में आई, जिसमें दिल बहादुर कह रहा था, सुन लई छा ऐ हजूर, ये शायद नेपाली भाषा में था।

अचानक हमें देख दिल बहादुर चुप हो गया, हमनें उससे पूरा गीत गाने को कहा ओर उसने पहली बार बिना ना नुकुर किये पूरा गीत फिर सुना दिया।

बिल्लू दा ने उसे खुश होकर 100/- रुपये दिये ओर अच्छी सब्जी लाकर बनाने को कहा, फिर हम वहाँ से निकल लिये।

रास्ते में बिल्लू दा बोले आज दिल बहादुर पिन्नक ( नशे ) में था, तभी हमारे एक बार कहने पर दुबारा गाना गा कर सुना दिया, अगर पिन्नक (नशे ) में ना होता तो मरे ही ना सुनाता।

मुझे भी बिल्लू दा की बात में तंत नजर आया क्योकिं दिल बहादुर जैसा शर्मिला व्यक्ति, यूँ एक बार कहने में कैसे गा गया।

इस मेट कम्युनिटी के बारे में पता किया तो, पता चला की ये खाने पीने के काफी शौकीन होते हैं, दिन भर मेहनत मजदूरी करने के बाद रात को अच्छा खाते पीते हैं, ताकि शारारिक चुस्ती फुर्ती बनी रहे,ओर साल के आखिर में ये लोग अपने गाँवो की ओर निकल लेते हैं।

लोग चाहे इनसे ठीक व्यवहार नही करते दिखते, पर दिल बहादुर जैसे लोग ,आज भी पहाड़ की लाईफ लाइन मानी जाती है, पहाड़ी रास्तों पर भारी भरकम सामान लाने ले जाने के ये अभ्यस्त जो होते हैं।

Suddenly, Dil Bahadur fell silent after seeing us, we asked him to sing the whole song and he heard the whole song again without doing anything for the first time.

Billu Da gave him 100 rupees after getting happy and asked him to make a good vegetable, then we left.

On the way, Billu Da said that today Dil Bahadur was in Pinnak (intoxicated), when he told us to sing a song again at our behest, he would not have died if he was not in Pinnak (intoxicated).

I also saw a tension in Billu Da's talk because a shy person like Dil Bahadur, how he sang in saying this once.
