गीतुल काखी

गीतुल  काखी ( चाची ) ने विवाह पश्चात , अपनी ज़िंदगी शहरों में ही बीता दी थी। 

काक (चाचा ) को छुट्टियाँ कम ही मिलती थी , इसलिये पहाड़ जाना भी कभी कभार ही हो पाता था ओर सब कुछ ठीक होते हुये भी गीतुल काखी को पहाड़ न जाने का अफसोस होता था। 

पर शहर में रहकर भी गीतुल काखी अपने तीज त्योहारों के माध्यम से अपने पहाड़ प्रेम को जीवित रखे हुये थी ,  घर में अपनी भाषा में वार्तालाप करना ओर बच्चों को भी बोलने के लिये प्रेरित करना , गीतुल काखी का पहाड़ प्रेम दर्शाता था। 

घर के बडे व बच्चे जब पहाड़ी भाषा में बोलते तो , बडे प्यारे लगते थे। 

गीतुल काखी ने अपने पहाड़ प्रेम के चलते , पूरे घर को पहाड़मय बना रखा था , तीज त्योहारों में ऐपण , हरियाव व गंगा अवतरण दिवस पर घर की देहरी पर गंगा दशहरा द्वार पत्र अगर कहीं दिखता था तो , वो घर होता था गीतुल काखी का। 

गजब की पहाड़ प्रेमी थी गीतुल काखी , कभी हम उनसे कहते भी थे , काखी ( चाची ) तुमुली तो ( तुमने तो ) पुर पहाड़ी ( पूरी पहाड़ी ) संस्कृति अपना राखे याँ (रखी है यहाँ ) बल , तुमुके तो ( तुमको तो )  पहाड़ में हूण छी ( पहाड़ में होना चाहिए ) वाँ ( वहाँ )  बिल्कुल फिट बैठना तुम , गीतुल काखी तब बोलती , जब रिटायरमेंट है जाल ( जायेगा ) तेर काकक ( तेरे चाचा का )  तब पक्क ( पक्का ) जोण वाँ (जायेंगे वहाँ )।

एक बार काफी सालों बाद किसी काम के चलते , गीतुल  काखी के गाँव जाने का मौका लगा , खेतों के बीच बनी पगडंडियों से बीच चलते हुये जब गाँव की तरफ जा रहा था तो , अचानक मुझे किसी ने पुकारा।

देखा तो गीतुल  काखी खेत में काम करती दिखी , मैने आसल कुशल पूछ उनसे पूछा , अरे गीतुल काखी तुम याँ कब आ छा ( अरे चाची कब आ गये )।

गीतुल काखी बोली साल भर है गी याँ आई , रिटायरमेंट है गो ( हो गया ) तेर काकक ( तेरे चाचा का ), मैंण कोछी ना ( मैंनें कहा था ना )  रिटायरमेंट होते ही याँ आ जोंण ( यहाँ आ जायेंगे ), ओर देख हम याँ आ ले गयाँ ( हम यहाँ आ गये )।

ये बोलते हुये जो चमक , गीतुल काखी के चेहरे पर थी ना , वो अप्रीतम थी , मानो सारे पहाड़ की ख़ूबसूरती उनके चेहरे में उतर आई हो , ओर उतरती भी क्यों ना , जो काखी पहाड़ से दूर रहकर , पहाड़ को जीवंत रखे हुये थी , वो पहाड़ आकर ऐसी ना दिखे ये कैसे हो सकता था!

Geetul Kakhi

Geetul Kakhi (aunt) had spent her life in cities after marriage.

 Kak (uncle) used to get holidays less, so going to the mountain was rarely possible and despite everything being fine, Geetul Kakhi regretted not going to the mountain.

 But even while living in the city, Geetul Kakhi was keeping his mountain love alive through his Teej festivals, talking in home in his own language and motivating the children to speak also showed the love of Geetul Kakhi.

 When the elders and children of the house spoke in the hill language, they looked very cute.

 Geetul Kakhi had made the entire house mountainous due to his mountain love, if the Ganga Dussehra gate letter was seen on the dehri of the house on Teej festivals, Appan, Hariyava and Ganga Avataran Divas, it would have been the home of Geetul Kakhi.

 Geetul Kakhi was an amazing mountain lover, we used to say to him, Kakhi (aunt) Tumuli to (you) Pur hill (whole hill) culture has kept its Rakhe or (here) force, you have (you)  Hoon Chhi (should be in the mountain) and (there) to fit you perfectly, Geetul Kakhi would speak when the retirement is Jala (will go) Ter Kakak (of your uncle) then Pakka (Pakka) Jonah (will go there).

 Once, after many years, due to some work, Geetul Kakhi got an opportunity to go to the village, while walking through the footpaths built between the fields, when someone was going towards the village, suddenly someone called me.

 When I saw Geetul Kakhi working in the field, I asked her to ask her well, when did Geetul Kakhi come or you came (Hey aunty when did you come).

 

 Geetul Kakhi Boli is all year long, I am retired, I have retired (I have told you), I am not (I told you), as soon as I retire, I will come here (see here)  Come here (we have come here).

 Speaking of this, the glow, which was on the face of Geetul Kakhi, was not the best, as if the beauty of the whole mountain has come down in her face, and why not, who was staying away from the Kakhi mountain, keeping the mountain alive,  How could it not be like seeing this mountain after coming!
