चनुली

चनुली की इंटर की परीक्षा थी , सेंटर हमारे गाँव में आया था।उसका गाँव इतना भी पास नही ठहरा की , रोज आ जा सके। इसलिये चनुली हमारे गाँव में , अपनी बुआ के घर पर ही रह कर पेपर दे रही थी। 

पढ़ने में होशियार होगी , उसे देख कर ऐसा लगता था  , क्योंकि जब पढ़ाई करती दिखती तो , पूरी तरह उसी में डूबी दिखती। 

पर वो सिर्फ किताबों में ही ,उलझी नही दिखी मुझे , शाम होने से पहले उसे घास के पूले काटते भी देखा था। 

यानी कामकाजी भी थी चनुली , पर परीक्षाओं के दौरान उसका , ये सब करना ठीक नही लग रहा था , तो उसकी बुआ जो हमारी गाँव के रिश्ते में काखी लगती थी , उसको जाकर बोला की काखी चनुली के इम्तिहान चल रहे हैं , ओर तुम इससे घास कटवा रही हो। 

इस पर काखी बोली च्याला ( बेटा ) तू ही समझा दे योई (यही ) बात जरा चनुली कें , मैं तो कै कै ( कह कह ) बेर ( कर ) थक गई , फिर ले न मानण ( मानती ) ।

मैंनें चनुली को बुलाया ओर उसे समझाया की , काम बाद में होता रहेगा , अभी इम्तिहान में ध्यान दे।

चनुली बोली ददा ( भाई ) यों ले कोई काम भे ( है ) , यो तो मेर मूड फ्रेश करणक ( करने ) तरीक ( तरीका )  छ (है ) ।

 दिन भर पढ़ बेर बोर हैं जाँ छू , ये लिजी ( लिये ) ब्याव ( शाम ) कर थोड काम कर बेर , मूड फ्रेश कर ली छू।  दिवी पूव घा ( दो पूले घास ) काट बेर बुआक काम ले हैं जाँ , ओर मेर मूड ले फ्रेश हैं जाँ। ये कें हमर पहाड़क जिम समझ लियो तुम , जाँ हम थोडा कसरत कर लिणू , ओर पहाड़ में यो जरूरी ले छ , नतर ( नही तो ) हाथ खुटियों ( पैरों ) में जंग लाग जाल , ये कह कर वो खतकने (जोर से हँसने ) लगी।

मैं उसकी बात को ना सही ठहरा पा रहा था , ना ही गलत , क्योंकि हम तो जब परीक्षा देते थे तो , पानी का गिलास भी टेबिल पर आ जाया करता था , ओर चनुली तो इसका  उलट कर रही थी ।ओर ये सब करते हुये भी , वह हाई स्कूल में पूरे ब्लाँक में सबसे ज्यादा अंक लाई थी !

Chanuli 

Chanuli had an intermediate examination, the center had come to our village. His village did not stay so close, he could come everyday.  That's why Chanuli was giving paper in our village, staying at her aunt's house.
